Homecare Gurus was recommended to me to provide overnight care for my elderly mother, who is a fall risk and who has short-term memory impairment. From initial contact to discussing my mum’s needs, recommendations and profile submission of suitable carers who would meet those needs, through the implementation of a bespoke care package and the introduction of the carers into mum’s home, each stage was carried out in a professional, friendly manner, with the obvious emphasis on my mother’s wellbeing. It is often hard for the elderly to feel comfortable with strangers or to accept a change in routine, but I can say with confidence that my mother has been treated with respect, compassion and understanding. She has had several issues which have been dealt with calmly and sensibly and it gives me great peace of mind to know that she is in such good hands.
