Founded in 2020, Homecare Gurus grew from our founder Julie’s first-hand experience of working in care. What began as a desire to help others developed into a much bigger ambition: to create a care organisation that combines compassion, professionalism and a genuine understanding of what good care should feel like.
Coming from a professional background centred around problem-solving, people and service delivery, Julie saw opportunities to do things differently. In particular, she recognised that care can sometimes become fragmented between different settings, despite the fact that the needs, dignity and wellbeing of the individual should remain at the centre throughout.
Homecare Gurus was created to help bridge that gap.
Today, we support people through domiciliary care, live-in care and specialist care at home, while also providing experienced care professionals to residential and nursing services. This breadth of experience gives our team a wider understanding of the care journey and helps us develop care workers who are adaptable, knowledgeable and confident in different environments.
